Absolutely not! He plans to do anything and everything to prevent what he sees as a disastrous marriage, similar to his own ghastly mistake at an even younger age. Katie’s bowled over by Zach’s sex appeal, taken aback by his blatant efforts to blackmail her, and struggling not to fall into bed with him. This is a warts and all look at the personality-filled noisy Marcelli family. They’re not perfect but they love fiercely, argue fiercely, and make up, sort of. Katie and Zach making up is, like WOW! A down to earth read but still wildly romantic.
