This blurb by no means does justice to the surprise that is this book. We can wax superlative but you have to read it to understand. The attraction and tension between John and Emma positively sizzles. The fact that they cannot touch only enhances their passion and when they do finally kiss its incendiary.
You’ll fall in love with five year old Simone, a child far wiser than her years, Leo the bodyguard is a hoot, Jade and Gold, gods in their own right are larger than life (really!) and Bai Hu, a shapeshifter god is a modern day sleaze you can not help but love. And Emma – we want to be just like her when we grow up! A not to be missed read.
