Should we admit that we flicked through the first few pages of this books till Jeremy turned up (yes we’re obsessed!). Of course after we found the place we went back and read the book like adults, but we just had to make sure we were finally getting a proper Jeremy fix as he’s been a favourite of ours right from the first book Bitten.
Anyway enough on Jeremy, this is supposed to be Jaime’s book and it doesn’t disappoint.
Jaime’s trying to get her break and if she has to raise the ghost of Marilyn Monroe to do so, well, hey, a girl’s gotta do what she must. But, when things start to go south she calls for backup, aka Jeremy and Eve. This also gives her much awaited time alone with Jeremy who she’s been crushing on for months, and the relationship between the unfathomable werewolf and the talkative, emotional necromancer ends up working surprisingly well.
The plot is intricate and chilling and a worthy entrant in this fantastic series! Even better we get cameos from or mentions of most of our favourite characters. |
