There’s always been a real dearth of great futuristic romances so when comes along you have to excuse us for becoming somewhat rabid.

This is a darker, grittier version of Linnea Sinclair filled with page turning action, suspense, humour and emotional tension.  Whew!!!  What a thrill ride!! 

Sarantha Jax is currently incarcerated in a medical facility undergoing “tests”.  As one of the few born with the J-gene she has spent the last 15 years jumping through Grimspace.  She was the best of the best, but now that’s all gone.  Her pilot/lover is dead as well as ship full of people she can’t even remember.  Was it her fault?  Will she be judged at fault and be dead in days?  Not if her rescuer can help it.  March appears from nowhere to break her out and lead her to a new life as a jumper on board his ship.  Surrounded by hostile strangers and haunted by ghosts, Jax has to put all her faith in the hands of this steely eyed stranger who looks like he’d like nothing better than to shoot her himself.

This is classic space opera complete with hostile banter and strange new aliens.  Let’s hope that this author is a quick writer.
