Yay, the boys are back in town,
yeeaaaaaaah! Boys? Hell no… uber-alpha men! Warriors! Hyped up, muscled up,
sexed up gorrrrrgeous heroes! This is V’s
book, or Vishous, and all about his primal, raw, deep loneliness and
semi-isolation once very close
Brother Butch gets his girl (Lover Revealed). Hmm, and there’s
more of their very special brotherly ‘closeness’ to enjoy here; very intriguing.
Anyway, not giving too many spoilers, V gets shot and hauled off to a normal
hospital, operated on by trauma specialist Jane Whitcomb… who discovers a few
verrrry interesting things about our boy’s not-so-normal body. Once he’s
conscious there’s no way he’s going to be separated from Jane. She. Is. His. Mine,
he thinks, barely conscious! So he does the unthinkable, he kidnaps her and
takes her home. So not kidding. And,
as we know from the other brothers, don’t get between them and their mate! But
there’s an awful lot of buts. V is
the Primale, son of the cruel Bloodletter (yikes), plus another bombshell gets
dropped from the Scribe Virgin about his origins. He’s supposed to impregnate
about fourty ‘chosen ones’ to continue their race. (Stop lining up, girls,
don’t be naughty!) Still. How can he impregnate them all and keep Jane? No,
contrary to what you think, it’s not
his wet dream… And what about John, poor John, still shivering and shriveled in
his pathetic little pre-trans body? Ooooh, just you wait. Ooh ooh ooh. And what
about Phury, tormented beyond all hope as he loves his brother’s pregnant mate?
Breathe in, breathe in… stop hyperventilating! So much to eat up in this latest
Brotherhood book. They’re family now, and it seems cruel to have
to – aargh – wait for the next one!
