Aphrodite’s Kiss begins with an official letter from the Venerate Council of Protectors, which sets the scene for a roller coaster ride of orgasmic inducing chocolate, flying capes and talking ferrets, (oh and the www.superherocentral.com site it does exist. …check it out).
Librarian Zoë Smith is half mortal and half protector, known as a fledging she is in training to become a member of the Council Of Protectors, her acceptance will depend on a test conducted by the Council and which she must pass by her twenty fifth birthday…her test saving the world of course. Zoë is an engaging heroine whose attempts to master her powers, in particular flying with the aid of a propulsion cape, will leave you in stitches.
Private Investigator George Taylor is not your typical hero, down on his luck he desperately needs to pay his rent and get some new clients. The perfect counter part to Zoë’s crazy life, Taylor is a remarkably endearing and gorgeous hero who is simply looking for a normal relationship. Our favourite part would have to be the relationship that develops between these two, as Zoë tries to keep her superhero status from Taylor – needless to say she doesn’t manage for very long.
