Let’s hear it for the nerds! Big softies with big hearts and nerves of, um, marshmallow. And yet… somewhere, deep inside, the primal defend and protect gene is just playing possum, ready to spring into action. Take Harry, a big, shy, super-intelligent, genius IQ nerd accountant, who really really really wants to date the super-hot showgirl Lainie, who lives in his building. He’s resisting because his mother was a dancer, and he doesn’t want to date or marry one. What. An. Idiot. It so happens that Lainie has a super-intelligent, genius IQ son, and the moron (Joey) who fathered him suddenly realizes that the kid’s his ticket to inheriting Joey’s father’s zillion $$$ empire. When Joey tries to steal the kid, guess who morphs from nerd to hero? There’s lots of scaredy-cat parts, which made us laugh, but there’s also lots of chest-thumping heroics and suddenly Lainie sees Harry in a new, sexy light. Which makes her want to see him with his clothes off, please. It’s about time she had an orgasm, she tells him, climbing naked into his shower, and Harry’s so stunned and grateful he helps her out with that. And again, because all nerds are thorough.
Andagainandagainandagainandagain… Yowsers! Meanwhile, Harry’s mother and her godfather-like partner Leo swing into the action to keep Joey away from Lainie and her son. His mother’s old dancing friends the TITS (yes, really) relish a piece of the action, and a crazy guy called Dudley keeps popping up trying to sell them a time-share. And did we mention the snakes? There’s a few tossed in for good measure. (Remember Harrison Ford/Indiana Jones and his I hate snakes! thing? Ditto for Harry.) It’s a crazy whirl-a-gig of a story, with heaps of laughs and heaps of really hot, romantic sex. There’s something to be said for making love with an athletic dancer, Harry discovers. So he asks Lainie to try some of her moves again. And again. Andagainandagainandagain. …You get the drift… Go, nerds!
