Oh, yeah. Feathers, spandex, ripply muscles, lots of chest thumping, cat fights … and that’s just the girls in this rather cute wrestle mania debut romance from Pat White! Things get down and get dirty reaaaal quick, what a delight to read. Frankie McGee (the ‘Franken Niece’ – scary!) promised her Uncle Joe she’d do anything to help him save his business. Wrestling business, that is. Quick as a flash she’s in the ring as the scantily clothed, masked cat-woman Tatiana, fighting over Black Jack Hudson. And isn’t he a true he-man? Big as a mountain with a big, soft heart of gold, and an intelligent mind lurking behind all that testosterone and hair. Trouble is, Frankie already has a fiancé. Granted, he seems a bit of a retentive goose, but Frankie sincerely loves him. What’s a girl to do when she’s deluged with feelings for a showman, with a future full of potential injuries and goodness knows what thanks to wrestling, as opposed to a nice, safe, methodical accountant (who purchases the ring on lay-away)?
