It’s an annual treat to get a new Cynster novel and this one doesn’t disappoint. Charles Morwellan, Earl of Meredith has decided it’s time to marry, and in his sensible and well-thought through fashion he settles on his neighbour Sarah Conninghman. He’s looking for a stable, mutually satisfying union but he’s definitely not prepared for what he’s about to find. Sarah has been half in love with him for years and can think of nothing worse than to marry without love, or rather a deep and abiding passion, so proposes a trial period where they can test their suitability to each other.
